- What is your design philosophy?
- “There is no place like home,” Dorothy once said. And I couldn’t agree with her more. My goal is to transform your home into a beautiful, yet simple space. Because when you surround yourself with things you love, home will always make you happy.
- Isn’t hiring an interior designer or interior decorator expensive?
- In this day and age, with the internet and big-box stores, great design does not have to be expensive and unattainable. My passion is to bring together pieces both high and low, new and old, to create the perfect mix you'll love living in for years to come. - How did you get into interiors?
- It’s cliche, but I’ve always loved interior design. Even as a young girl, I always wanted to update my space and make it even more beautiful than before. Fast forward, I graduated from the University of Oklahoma with an Advertising degree and had a good career working on commercials. But as time went on, my passion for interior design grew. On my 25th birthday I decided to "live what I love" and bryn alexandra interiors was born.
- Tell us a little more about yourself.
- My full name is Bryn Alexandra Dunn. Alexandra is my middle name, but I simply go by "Bryn". I reside in Charlotte, North Carolina with my husband, Matt, who has a great beard and our adorable spaniel mix, Charlotte, who has a lovable underbite. I'm a creative, self-proclaimed homebody who loves to eat great food, read blogs, and dream big.
